One week dream tour of Tuscany in a private van. Equal parts food, wine, photography.

We drive, you enjoy. Limited to just six guest. We’ll visit Orvieto, Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, Montepulciano, Montalcino and Siena.

All flights lead to Rome… 

Day one: We pick you up at your hotel or airport and drive to Tuscany. First stop is the hill top fortress of Orvieto for lunch and  walking tour. After Orvieto we head to the beautiful Tuscan village of Pienza where we'll stay at  the cool La Bandita Hotel  (www.la-bandita.com). We'll stroll the streets of Pienza and then dinner at Bandita. While on your Italian safari Mr. Fajack will help you hone your photography skills and help you identify compelling elements of an image like lighting, framing and composition. You’ll be taught how to use manual settings on your camera that put you in control of your photography and enhance its beauty. There will be ample time for each guest to receive one on one tips and instruction on techniques like motion panning, rule of thirds and proper use of polarizing filters. Via screen sharing each traveler will also receive an hour of Photoshop instruction once you’re back home and you’ve narrowed down your best shots. 
Day two: A morning photo jaunt of Pienza and then a tour of Pope Pius II’s summer residence. We lunch at the amazing Trattoria Latte di Luna. We'll take an hour break at the hotel and then off to relax in the natural mud baths of Bagno Vignoni. We'll stay in Vignoni for dinner.

Day three: A free morning and then Chef Paolo Coluccio will give us a cooking class while explaining the local food and wine. Then off to the medieval hilltop village/wine Mecca of Montepulciano for a walk and photography class. After our walk we dine at the world famous La Grotta restaurant. 

Day four: We pack up and then off to the wine Mecca of Montalcino for a walking tour and lunch at Albergo Il Giglio. After lunch we drive to amazing Siena to stay at Grand Hotel Continental. You'll have some free time and then dinner at Grotto di Santa Canterina da Bagoga.

Day Five: Up early to head to the picturesque village of San Gimignano for a tour and lunch at Ristorante Fuoriluogo. From there we put the cameras down for a rough day of wine tasting throughout the hills of Chianti. Drive back to Siena. 

Day Six: Pack up and head off to town made famous by "Under the Tuscan Sun" - Cortona. We'll get a tour and history lesson about this amazing village that is older than Rome. We'll lunch at La Loggetta and then you're free to explore the walk streets and views of Cortona. For supper we'll dine at the quaint Taverna Il Gozzoviglio and spend the night at Monastero di Cortona.

Day Seven: You have options! 1) You can stay in Cortona and go out on your own. 2) We can get you to a hotel or airport in either Rome or Florence. 3) You can keep the party rolling and we’ll customize an extension onto the end of your trip.

Price: $4500 double occupancy. $5200 single. includes everything except airfare, alcohol, travel insurance.
